Always informative - tell you before they do anything. Know what they are about. Valeted car inside and out, maybe because it was a major service (large bill)? Good at managing expectations - done early or price slightly less than quoted.

The pickup & return was carried out well, there was only one slight problem following the return of the vehicle, it was left unlocked, I don’t have a garage suitable for my car & it’s parked some distance from my property.

The service I get from Proven Subaru in Haslemere is first class. They make it very straightforward to book servicing and MoTs and are very accommodating with timescales. I am very particular about my car and how it is cared for and I get good technical advice about the condition of the car from the technicians at Proven Haslemere and any work is carried out extremely professionally.

I had been advised that the rear suspension on Forester needed to be re-bushed. The car had been booked in early and when I returned at 4pm it was ready and in addition they had done the front suspension as well. I was pleased that it had all been done as one job.

The service department appear to be honest. They tell me about possible problems with my model of car and whats important to get right. They explain the costs before they do the work. Yes, the servicing is expensive but I they do a good job. So its fair.

Sale and handover of new car generally positive though the paperwork did seem to take a terribly long time.

From the very first contact with Graham I immediately felt that the car was in safe hands. I had a problem with the Hill Holder mechanism in my wife's Subaru Impreza and a flat spot between 2000 and 2500 RPM. We live in Worthing and our local garage was stumped. They even replaced the front off-side brake caliper because they thought it was binding - however it was a fault with the Hill Holder mechanism which they Knew nothing about. it was a great relief later that day when Gr aham explained all the faults and the corrective action, as well as finding some additional faults. I approved the corrective action and picked up the car on Thursday - since thaen it has run faultlessly. I have the highest opinion of your firm.

In had an incident with my Subaru XV Car on 9th April 2023 and my Insurers (Churchill) placed it with DLG Autos for repair. They were unable ton get the spare parts required until September 2023 to effect the work and the car was returned to me on 18 9 23. As Sorn had been registered I needed a Service, and MOT before I could re -Road Tax my Car but when Proven examined it for the service they pronounced that were unhappy with some of the work that DLG had carried out and suggested that I returned the car to them for it to be done. DLG suggested that a matter of months could be involved and I asked Proven whether they could take on the work.. They said they could do it next day , issue the MOT and renew the Road Tax on the car forthwith. In the circumstances this was excellent and professional service. Beyond the call of duty.,

I've purchased a number of Subaru car models over the years from Proven Subaru in Haslemere, and I've always found their aftersales and servicing has been excellent. Booking my Forester XT in for its annual MOT and 5 year service was easily done via a call after an email and call reminder from the Service Manager. I was able to drop the car in early and it was ready to pick up at the agreed time. I was given a comprehensive breakdown of the customer invoice worksheet alongside any details of any non-essential items that were spotted during the service. I was advised about the warranty as the manufacturer doesn't provide any extended warranty on their vehicles in the UK after 5 years and also don't provide an extended Subaru UK warranty that can be purchased which was available for their previous UK car models.

Service fine. Just annoyed that, despite sending me a reminder for my booking and my booking the service 3 weeks in advance no-one pointed out to me that my MOT would expire in the gap. the job sheet had 21/09 written on it instead of 21/08. When I discovered that my MOT had expired I was unable to drive my car for 5 days as I could not change my booking. I have had many Subarus which are always serviced by Proven in Haslemere and, although I appreciate that the MOT is my responsibility I think they should have noticed and not booked the service after the expiry.

Fantastic knowledge, friendly staff, quick turnaround

It's nice and easy for me to take the car into town as it's within walking distance of home. Proven always gets the job done. The prices are pretty steep but I can cope with them for now and I think it's probably worth it for the convenience.

This was the first time I'd used Proven Subaru for a service and I found the staff very professional, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, the workshops and reception area look very clean and well equipped. Arranging the service also very easy, so excellent experience in all these areas. The one area I wasn't so happy with was the quality of information I received with the invoice - I did get a breakdown on the invoice of parts and labour, and a verbal explanation that the tyres were OK and nothing else had been flagged up, but there wasn't a checklist of activities that the service had covered. At other main dealers I've used in the past, I have received a checklist of activities, indicators of tyre and disk pad wear etc. After 3 phone calls I eventually got close to knowing what the service had covered, but I never did get the checklist, despite being told it had been emailed to me. I realise that not everyone wants this level of detail, but I do because it's useful to have when it comes to selling car because it shows the car was thoroughly checked over.

Courteous and efficient. What more could one want?
